The annual Club exodus to Ironbridge regatta was blessed with sunshine and excellent results. The club netted another 10 wins across the 2 days. Starting the "Pot" collection was Boris Darcy, Steve Randal, Mat Taylor and Richard Brooks who won Intermediate 2 coxed fours with Ellie Blackwood Coxing. Ellie then competed herself in womens novice single sculls and won that event as well. On Sunday having to moving up a status category Ellie Blackwood then proceeded to dominate that event as well winning two rounds and her final.

The ladies crew of Annie Williams, Ruth Davies, Dawn Evans, Geraldine Calcraft coxed by Sheron Dean Lucas won their semi final in women's Veteran Coxed fours against Star rowing club and then defeated a crew from Liverpool Victoria in the final. Steve Randal was successful again after rejoining his doubles partner Phil Davies to win in the coxless pairs final. To complete the senior results Phil Palmer and Mike Jones teamed up with competitors from Ironbrodge and Llandaff to win in the Veteran E eights.

For the Junior Academy it was another successful weekend as well. The winning crews were Johan Lai who won J13 single sculls, Jess Crossman in women's J12 single sculls, Catrin Morris and Megan Jephcote Wj12 double sculls, and j12 doubles Scot Morris and George Probert.

Again it was another excellent weekend of rowing for the Ross Club. From a development perspective all the Ross rowers put in excellent performances illustrating the progress being made across the club in all sections. The Junior Academy members were exemplary in their sculling and sportsmanship on and off the water. Senior members and supporters made up a huge contingent on the river bank making the loudest supporting cheers as each Ross crew entered the finish straight. Many thanks must go to the support teams at both regattas especially the supporting parents and trailer drivers Tim Crossman and Phil Davies.
