When ten year old Harry Davies arrived for assembly at his school in Walford on Thursday, he was surprised to see a large group of visitors at the front of the hall, including his parents and grandparents. "I thought I had either done something really good or really bad and I was not sure what it was," said Harry. See this week's Gazette for a full report.

From left, are Councillor Phil Edwards (chairman of overview and scrutiny committee), Harry’s grandparents Bryan and Jean Davies and Janet Potter, Harry’s mum and dad Robert and Rachel, Walford primary school headteacher Louise George, Mrs Joyce Thomas (chairman of governors at Walford Primary School), and Councillor John Jarvis (cabinet member for environment and strategic housing). At the front is Harry, who was dressed up as Jennings from the popular children’s book series as part of World Book Day.
