The new postcode checker gives homeowners and businesses the chance to check the progress of faster broadband installation in their exchange area right up to the point that it goes live.
Entering your postcode will identify if your exchange area is within 12 months of going live, and you will be able to track progress through to the point that it does. Those people whose areas won't go live in the next 12 months will need to keep checking.
Once your exchange area is accepting orders you will then be able to use the line checker (to be launched on the site soon) or contact your internet service provider to see what level of service is available.
