Linton Festival organisers have proudly announced that they have smashed through the £100,000 barrier in fund raising and donations to local charities.
Linton Festival is a not for profit community event, run by volunteers. The money raised from the Festival goes straight back into the community, and the organisers are proud to have smashed their £100,000 target for charity.
Festival Chairman, David Lambert, said: “Last year our six nominated local charities benefited from a whopping £8,800 in sponsorship and donations raised by the festival.
“Of course, we couldn’t do it without the generous support of our local business sponsors who help to cover part of our overheads and advertise in our festival programme.
“Now in its 19th year, Herefordshire’s best loved three-day music event returns on the weekend of Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July.”See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
