A film discovered in an attic, and about to be thrown away has turned out to be a fantastic version of a Borderlines film made in 2000 featuring local railway enthusiast and artist, Jerry Whitehouse.

The film is a look back at the history of the Ross-on-Wye to Monmouth railway and makes great viewing for anyone with an interest in the local area, and the railway in particular. Full of nostalgic footage, as well as interviews with people who could remember travelling on the trains, including Eric Rawlings, who spent his life trying to bring the railway back to Ross.

The film was given to Matt Healey by a work colleague, who found it in an attic, and now Matt has uploaded it to his youtube channel where he uploads archive Hereford footage. You can view the film below.
