Tonight, (Monday, October 12th) the team at Gibraltar House, Monmouth, are holding an evening to raise awareness for Dementia, from 6.30pm.

Dementia Friends is a community based project for those that want to learn more about dementia and how to help those with the condition. The success of the project relies on people knowing what it’s like to live with dementia and turning that understanding into action.

Everyone is invited to attend this event and learn more about how to help people in your community.

A dementia diagnosis does not just affect one person; it impacts on the immediate family, friends and the community as a whole.

The Dementia Friends event aims to give Monmouth a place that will provide guidance, information and support.

Complimentary wine and nibbles will be served.
