Do you consider yourself to be a veteran? Many people still think the Royal British Legion only supports those who fought for their country during major conflicts, but this is not the case.

Ross-on-Wye and District RBL Branch wants to help local people see how the Legion supports communities. They told the Ross Gazette that the Legion is not just there for people who served but also for their families. Support starts after seven days of service and continues through life, long after service is over.

There is an opportunity to find out more about the work of the RBL at a special meeting on Friday, January 31st at Bishopswood Village Hall from 6pm to 8pm.

You can find out what help is available and there is no need to be a member of the RBL to receive support.

Tea and coffee will be available and there will be a licensed bar. For further information and booking contact: Janet 07736 303074 or Email:[email protected]unity
