On a lovely afternoon a large group of excited girls, and their parents and friends, gathered at the Larruperz Centre for the annual Carnival Princess competition. However this year there were also several handsome young boys who keen to become the first Carnival Prince. Ben was chosen as Prince and will wear the new crown and will be accompanied by runners up, Tyron and Daniel.

Last year’s Carnival Princess handed over her tiara to the new Princess, Romerleigh. She will be attended by runners up, Ebony and Molly.

The judges had a really difficult job as there were so many entries, luckily everyone who entered the competition will have the opportunity to ride on the carnival float.
