Dear Editor,

Our curiosity was raised one evening last week and we couldn’t resist dropping a line of appreciation.

A riverbank party of Ross Angling Club members were commendably clearing growth from around the areas used by day ticket fishermen between The Hope and Anchor and Wilton Bridge.

We look forward to the larger scale clearance of trees, and anticipate this project being floated at future Council meetings, to give our riverside benches, and whoever choses to perch there, the view intended.
