On the first Saturday of summer, a cluster of gardens near Ross-on-Wye will be opened for St Michael’s Hospice.

The five plots in Brampton Abbotts, each varying in size and offering something different to the visitor, can be explored on Saturday, June 2nd between 12 noon and 5pm.

One of the garden owners is Viv Lucas who is pictured (centre) with the other residents who are opening their gardens.

“I’m really looking forward to it,’ she said. “If you’re going to put a lot of work into a garden then it’s really good to share it. ‘I think the community element adds plenty of interest and variety.’

Viv says she has friends who will be attending from Bristol and Christchurch.

The event is part of the St Michael’s Hospice Open Gardens season.
