Five people arrested in May, June and August 2016 on suspicion of animal cruelty have been released from police bail, a file is with West Midlands Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Complex Casework Unit, the investigation is live and ongoing.

West Mercia Police said "All five people have been compliant with bail conditions and we are satisfied that the continued use of these is no longer proportionate. Once the CPS have had opportunity to review all of the evidence, we are satisfied that we can re-engage relevant parties as necessary."
