A resident of Honeysuckle Close was furious when an abundance of black bin bags were flytipped on the lane, known locally as ‘forest path’ overnight, between April 21st and 22nd.

She reported the incident to Balfour Beatty who quickly cleared away the waste, and all the bin bags were removed by 10.30am on Friday, April 22nd.

Town Councillor, Chris Bartrum told the Ross Gazette that there have been ongoing problems there, with waste being illegally dumped, and he has been campaigning to Herefordshire Council to get the garden waste removed since January.

He pointed out that although the bin bags had been removed, there was still lots of garden waste, including discarded fencing, that had been left behind.
