Ross Juniors Football Club are appealing for volunteers to help clear-up the sports clubhouse after flooding caused by Storm Dennis.

Anyone wishing to lend their support and help out have been asked to meet at the club on Saturday between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

Members of the club were left devastated after the sports centre clubhouse was flooded after the River Wye burst its banks on Monday, February 17th, with a club spokesperson confirming that all four sides of the club were breached by floodwater.

Those willing to volunteer their time to clear-up are asked to bring along mops, buckets and other cleaning materials and equipment.

Some volunteers have already begun clearing up, and the club has received numerous offers of help and support from local people.

Ross Juniors Football have also announced that a fundraising page has been set up to help fund repairs following the flooding.

The club have been overwhelmed with all the offers of help from the local community, businesses and club members and would like thank everyone for their continued support.
