Madam, The NHS has its critics but our recent experience shows the other side.

My wife had a stroke which was frightening for both of us, but a Ross paramedic was with us within 10 minutes of our 999 call and from then until she was discharged from the Hereford County A&E six hours later she received treatment which was second to none.

The doctors and nurses were brilliant. Scans blood tests etc all carried out with quiet efficiency.

Fortunately, my wife has made a good recovery.A worrying time for us but when we needed help the NHS was there for us and we will be forever grateful.
