IT WAS a nostalgic visit for former staff members of John Kyrle High as they returned to the school as part of a series of events,

Last week’s event saw key community stakeholders engage with the former teachers and other staff over breakfast and were taken on a tour of the school complex and were shown the changes that had taken place in recent years.

Current staff members delighted in seeing their former colleagues and some as former students of John Kyrle were transported back to their school days and chatting with their former teachers, but now as adults.

Between them the former members of staff amassed an amazing 500 years of service to John Kyrle High. Although many had retired they were still giving back to the community by volunteering in a number of roles.
