ROSS Juniors felt an added dash of excitement this weekend as they faced their first away fixture of the season. They tried new tactics, fielding a five man midfield, with Kev Trotman playing the Makelele role allowing attacking freedom for Will Barker and Joe Loftus.

It took only 15 minutes for Ross to take the lead and the game was put beyond all doubt when Charlie's Bar man of the match Ted Loftus won a penalty on 73 minutes.
