Hereford Leisure Centre are holding a free training event on Saturday, March 3rd from 10:00am till 12:00pm, for people interested in doing the ‘Furlong Fury’ or other tough/mud runners.

This is for first timers and novices, as well as the more advanced obstacle racer. The main thing is that the session is fun and people can do what they feel comfortable with, whatever their level of fitness and experience.

The session is being led by Rob Edmond (Celebrity trainer, The Biggest Loser TV Show) from Urban Attack, who will give hints, tips and technique advice on taking part in obstacle course events. You will also get a sneak peek at some of the obstacles appearing at this year’s ‘Furlong Fury’ event, like the magnificent monkey bars or the wondrous wall!

Both Halo members and non members can book onto the event and you do not have to be taking part in the ‘Furlong Fury.’

To book your free space give Hereford Leisure Centre a call on 01432 278178 (Online bookings can be made from Saturday 17th for Halo members and from Friday 23rd for non members).

The ‘Furlong Fury’ is a 5km muddy challenge, over (or under) 20+ major obstacles, for both individuals and teams.
