A resident in Alton Street is concerned that large vehicles damaging her wall as they turn into Kent Avenue could land her with liabilities if parts of the falling masonry cause an accident or injury.
Charlie Broughton-Whitaker met with Ross councillors last week to discuss ways of calming traffic on the brow of the hill on Alton Street and reducing the number of agricultural vehicles which use the road.
Miss Broughton-Whitaker told the Ross Gazette: "We first found pieces of stone on our driveway last summer and wondered where they came from.
"It wasn't until last week, when we returned home and were told by someone else that they had seen an agricultural vehicle strike the wall as it turned from Alton Street into Kent Avenue. It has taken a large gouge out of the stone. Full report in this week's Gazette.
