A very special afternoon was enjoyed by all who attended in the beautiful gardens of Ross Court on Saturday, July 7th, 2018.
Ross Court residents were joined by their friends and family to enjoy a special sunny afternoon to celebrate the opening of their new greenhouse.
They enjoyed a delicious home-made picnic lunch, while listening to the sounds of the Ross-on-Wye Town Band.
With generous donations from The Engine Shed garden centre, a garden stall was held throughout the event.
Mr Tony Featherstone officially opened the Ross Court greenhouse.
Janet Auty, the Home Manager of Ross Court, said: “Mr Tony Featherstone kindly donated our fantastic new greenhouse in memory of his late mother who was a resident here. As his mother was so fond of gardening, it seemed like the perfect tribute.”
The Deputy Mayor, Valerie Coker, also attended the official opening of the greenhouse.
