Every year, hundreds of local residents and visitors gather at vantage points around the town to watch the Carnival procession, as it makes its way from the Ashburton Industrial Estate to the Ropewalk.

The annual Ross-on-Wye Town Carnival is held on the first Saturday in August, featuring the traditional procession of floats and walking entries parading along the town centre roads.

The procession starts at 1pm on Saturday, August 6th, and ends at the Carnival Field on the Ropewalk, where plenty of entertainment and stalls have been organised.

The Carnival field opens to the public at 11am on Carnival Day, and this will again feature James Danter’s Family Funfair.
