Since 2006 Classics at Madley has held a successful static classic car show as part of the annual Church Fete. This year they are taking things up a gear on June 3rd with their first Scenic Tour for vintage, classic and “interesting” cars and motorcycles.

This will be 60 to 70 miles long using quiet roads through the beautiful valleys on Herefordshire’s border with Wales, followed by an expedition to conquer the Gospel Pass.

The start will be from the Glebe Field next to Madley Church from 8am onwards. After coffee and bacon butties crews will be given a ‘road book’ with junction diagrams and maps with alternative routes to avoid tougher sections if needed.

Lunch will be at The Castlefields and at the finish there will be tea and cakes.

The cost will be £25 per car with driver and co-driver. Motorcycles and riders will pay £15. Extra passengers will be charged £6. All proceeds will go towards maintenance at Madley Church. On the day all that will need to be paid for is lunch and fuel. Numbers are limited to 40 vehicles so early booking is a good idea.
