Generous slimmers in Ross-on-Wye who attend slimming groups in the town have raised over £3,000 for Cancer Research UK.
They have been donating the clothes they no longer wear after successfully slimming out of them as part of the Big Slimming World Clothes Throw.
A total of 128 bags were collected at the Ross-on-Wye Cancer Research UK Shop and as each bag is expected to generate £25 they should raise £3,200.
Debra who runs a Ross Slimming World group said: “I can’t believe how many bags we managed to collect, but it was lovely to see the members of the group so happy to look at things they used to wear which are now too big for them.
“It has also raised an amazing amount of money for a charity many of the members care strongly about.”
