There will be an opportunity for local residents who are interested in shaping the future of Ross to meet the team working on the Neighbourhood Plan team this weekend, April 30th and May 1st.

The team is currently preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for Ross-on-Wye which will add further local detail to the Herefordshire Local Plan, which is a document guiding the development in the county over the next 20 years.

The preparation of the Neighbourhood Plan is currently being led by a steering group, compromising of local people with the support of Ross Town Council.

The team believe that only through local knowledge and understanding of challenges and opportunities for Ross and the local area can inform and shape a truly local plan.

They hope other local residents will want to get involved. There will be the chance to meet the people from the team on Saturday, April 30th outside the Market House.

They will also be at the River Festival on Sunday, May 1st. They would welcome any more comments from local residents who want to have their say on the Neighbourhood Plan.
