In beautiful sunny summer weather, 65 guests, Rotarians and friends of Ross Rotary Club enjoyed a splendid afternoon tea at the Chase Hotel on Saturday, June 23rd. The annual event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Ross-on-Wye and is held for the benefit of residents in the local community.

Ross Rotary President, Richard Williams, welcomed everybody and thanked them for coming to the Rotary afternoon tea party. He said that hoped everyone would enjoy the event, catch up with old friends, maybe make some new friends and perhaps understand a little of the Rotary Club’s role in the community.

In response, Dame Rachael Dyche thanked the President and Ross Rotary Club for holding the event and added that she felt that it was very important to bring the community together through events such as the tea party.

It was an happy, relaxed and friendly afternoon and as such, a very enjoyable time was had by all those who attended.

Ross Rotary Club also thanked the Chase Hotel for their support with the event.
