ROSS boy dancers, Activate, took to the stage at the GLOW dance festival on Saturday – 'Herefordshire's biggest and boldest Cultural Olympiad Event' – and wowed the crowds with their urban dance styles .

GLOW was the culmination of a two year dance project with professional artists and community performers across Herefordshire. Activate boys have been meeting weekly at the Yzone in Ross with professional dancers for dance sessions organised by 2facedance.

The young movers, alongside 500 other dancers, for just one day and one night, performed to 3,000 people, on six stages. It was the biggest and most spectacular dance event ever staged in Herefordshire. Hip hop dancers, to Latin, to tea dances, Hereford's Castle Green was transformed into one giant dance studio. And Activate held their own.
