A much-loved local bakery, The Golden Crust will close on September 26th, after nearly 31 years of trading.

Richard Pearce, owner of the bakery, told the Ross Gazette he and his wife will be retiring; they attempted to find another owner to take the bakery on, but as no one came forward, it will unfortunately result in a closure.

Richard and his wife Lorraine, would like to say a thank you to their loyal customers.
