What better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than at a dog show!  Although it was arguably one of the hottest days of the year so far over 100 dogs and their owners participated in the show raising just over £800 for The Animal House Charity.

During the show there was a parade of dogs requiring homes. Sausage a Yorkshire terrier is being seriously considered and Gabby, a cocker spaniel, who took a liking to one group of spectators has been offered a new home and will be moving in with them soon. Keep your fingers crossed that they and all the other dogs find permanent loving homes.  The organisers are very grateful to everyone who came along, to the show's sponsors and to those who gave up their time to help also  special thanks to Elms Veterinary Surgery for the rosettes and Jenny and Bob Bennett.
