ARE you interested in reducing your energy footprint and cutting your energy bills but not sure of the next step, why not go along to the Greener Living Show on Saturday, October 18.

The Greener Living Show at Gorsley Baptist Church will have leading experts and suppliers from Herefordshire and north Gloucestershire and will be showcasing the very best advice and products across all aspects of home energy, from generating, storing, saving and using.

The Show is sponsored by Linton Parish Council who extend a warm welcome to anyone who wants to go along.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm and will have presentations given by the visiting experts or you can just browse the stands where you are sure to pick up useful advice, guidance and contacts.

The event has been organised by the members of the Parish council’s climate group which was set up in 2019 with the remit of identifying ways in which the council can support and encourage parishioners in their journey towards a more sustainable future.

The group has already instigated numerous projects over its lifetime including procuring a thermal imaging camera for the investigation of thermal losses from properties; the running of recycling cafes in Linton and Gorsley village halls and Improving signage and creating and the clearing of pathways in the Linton Quarry to improve it as a public amenity.

The Greener Living Show has been inspired by the highly successful eco Festivals run by Colwall Greener in Colwall who have offered their support and guidance in setting the Linton group along the right path.

The group have contacted local suppliers and organisations with green credentials. The Greener Living Show aims to offer something for every budget. From those who want to cut their energy bills to those who want to build their own eco house, and everyone in between.
