Madam, How very fortunate we were on Thursday, November 8th when, en route to a dental appointment in Hereford, the clutch failed on the steep hill at Harewood End. A very dangerous place to come to a halt!

Suddenly a good Samaritan (on his way back from his Doctor) insisted on helping us and pushed the car up the hill and out of the traffic.He invited us back to his home for coffee where we awaited the breakdown truck.

I would like to publicly thank Colin Williams for his kindness and great assistance – we could have been stranded for ages.
