Graham Hammond, who runs the Red Driving School in Ross, was delighted when Hayley Jackson passed her test at the first attempt in December. Graham was particularly pleased because Hayley passed with only one minor fault.

Hayley is 17 years old and a student at Hartpury College. She is studying for a National Diploma in Animal Management and hopes to go on to University so she is already saving up to buy her first car.

Hayley had lessons from Graham for about three months. She told The Ross Gazette:?"I was quite nervous to start with but Graham is a very good teacher, he is very patient, and this helped to build my confidence."

Graham told The Ross Gazette:?"Hayley is a lovely bright intelligent girl who was a pleasure to teach. Whenever she mastered a skill she gave me such a beaming smile it was a joy to teach her."
