A friendly introductory session that helps people develop their understanding of dementia is available from Ross Library, on Cantilupe Road.

The session is free and takes place on Thursday, November 10. You can book a place at hfdslibraries.eventbrite.com.

Organiser Elaine Leney said: “The dementia awareness went well last week.”

The session is put on by Ross Meeting Centre Dementia Club. They, along with GPs are working to make Ross a place where people with dementia are understood, respected, and supported. Ross Meeting Centre began in 2017 and provides friendship, fun and stimulating activities for people with mild to moderate dementia and their carers in a safe, supportive environment.
