The two GP surgeries in Ross-on-Wye, Pendeen and Alton Street, along with many GP practices across Herefordshire has been experiencing problems with their clinical computer system. They have no access to patient information such as appointment, bookings, results and prescriptions.

A spokesperson for Pendeen Surgery said: "If you require emergency treatment, please contact the surgery for advice or NHS 111. If you have a minor illness such as insect bites, please go to your local pharmacy. As far as we know, Minor Injury Department and A&E are not effected by this glitch. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Please bear with us as our IT specialists try to resolve the issue."Alton Street Surgery had a message on their website saying they hope the issue will be resolved as soon a possible
