A roadshow for local residents to find out more about the Draft Sustainability and Transformation Plan, which was due to be held at Ross-on-Wye Community Hospital today (Monday, January 9th), from 9.30am until 12pm, has been postponed.
Wards at the hospital had to be closed to visitors on December 30th, due to a Norovirus outbreak. These restrictions were eased on Saturday afternoon (January 7th), but a spokesperson from HealthWatch Herefordshire told the Ross Gazette that they decided that it would be more sensible to postpone the event, and arrange it for a later date.
At the forthcoming roadshow, partner organisations responsible for healthcare in the area will be sharing their thoughts about how local services may look in the future, through a drop in event.
Members of Ross Town Council and health professionals, as well as general members of the public are being urged to attend to see what plans might be in store. There is also an opportunity to have your say about healthcare in Ross.
A date has yet to be arranged for the roadshow, but the Ross Gazette will provide this information as soon as possible.[UPDATE] A spokesperson from Healthwatch Herefordshire told the Ross Gazette: "We have rescheduled to attend Ross Community Hospital on January 23rd, 10.00am until 12.30pm."
