Ross Baptist Church will be celebrating its 200th birthday this coming weekend.
All the regular attendees – children, young people and adults will be finding ways to celebrate all weekend, and will be inviting friends and family to join them.
On Saturday morning there is a luxury ladies’ breakfast - a special opportunity for pampering - and in the evening, for those who want to dance, or just watch others making a fool of themselves, a Barn Dance and a hog roast, with a live band!
On Sunday morning and evening, the renowned Bible teacher, preacher and author Charles Price will be speaking and sharing in the worship.
Charles, who was local to Ross, emigrated to Canada 16 years ago where he pastored the 5,000 strong People’s Church in Toronto.
His sermons are broadcast across Canada and via cable TV, to an audience of millions around the globe.
Dave Berry, one the Leadership Team at Ross Baptist Church said: “We are excited that Charles Price is speaking at our special services.
“He is a highly recognisable bible teacher, speaking regularly to thousands at conferences throughout the world - including the popular Spring Harvest and Keswick conventions in the UK. Ross Baptist is excited to be celebrating 200 years of service to the community. We have some special plans for the immediate future - especially around our work with children and families.’’
All events are free of charge but tickets (apart from the services) must be obtained from the Church office (01989 566966).
