MEMBERS of cubs, guides, beavers, brownies and rainbows in Ross-on-Wye are all doing their best to help renovate their headquarters. They have a number of fundraising activities planned this year, including carol singing and supermarket bag packing.

However they really need more help with carrying out all the work that is needed.

They are very grateful to Chris Gait, Handyman of Ross who has donated materials and time to make significant progress over the past month. Employees at the Spar have offered to paint the interior walls sometime before Christmas thanks to their Community Fund. Several parents volunteered to clear the very overgrown gardens and clean the interior and have made a huge difference to the hall's appearance.
