In the A-Team Division of the Inter Counties Championship the Herefordshire team has won through to the Quarter Finals in a nail-biting Group 2 competition. They finished top of their group having won four of their six games and ending up 24 points clear of their nearest rival.

The Quarter Final takes place on the weekend of 14th/15th February at Kettering in Northants and their opponents will be the winner of the Group 5 competition. That group has matches still outstanding but the current leaders are West Sussex and Kent and it looks as though it will be one of those two teams that will meet the Herefordshire County A-Team.

In the Larruperz Skittles Knock-Out played on Sunday Jan 4th, Roy's Boys beat King Pins 'A' 184 – 168. Cydwinders beat Mikes Birdies 'B' 177 – 148. Wanderers beat Spooners 195 - 166.

The highest ladies score is 53 – A.Milne, Wye Sports. The highest ladies spare is 15, shared by K Goodman, Odds and Sods, and J Robinson, King Pins 'A'. The highest mens score is 58 – R Lewis, Red Devils. The highest men's spare is 17 - M Smith, Nearly Boys.
