Herefordshire Heartstart teach emergency life support skills to members of the public through free two hour courses.

On Wednesday, February 7th there will be a course at St Mary’s Church Hall, 7-9pm.

On the course they teach participants: how to call for help, how to deal with an unconscious casualty and the recovery position, dealing with a suspected heart attack, dealing with a choking casualty, dealing with severe bleeding, CPR and the role of the defibrillator.

The courses are free but they do ask for a donation to the charity at the end of the course to support future work.
