For the third year running, Herefordshire’s Family Festival will be taking over The Courtyard on Wednesday, October 25th.

For an entire day, The Courtyard will be transformed into a magical world filled with low cost or free creative activities for families to take part in.

Free events on the day will include arts and craft activities in the Wizard’s Workshop, performances from About Face Theatre and outdoor activities with WildPlay. There are also a host of ticketed workshops that can be booked, including tours of Hereford Football Club, puppetry workshops with Fetch Theatre and Spell Battle Stage Combat classes.

This year, The Courtyard is also bringing an afternoon of activities to Ross-on-Wye on Monday, October 23rd. There will be a Circus Skils Workshop run by Pink Elephant Circus at Ross Library from 11am to 4pm that is free to drop into throughout the day. There will also be a performance of The Tale of Merlin by The Courtyard’s Youth Theatre at 3pm underneath the Market House.

Selected by visitors at last year’s event, this year the theme is magic, and families are encouraged to get into the spirit of the day by dressing up as something magical.

Herefordshire’s Family Festival will be at The Courtyard on Wednesday, October 25th, from 10am - 6pm.
