The highlight of the Orchard Trust’s Tea in the Afternoon on September 11th was a visit to the Day Services site at Stowfield by the Forest of Dean Historical Vehicle Club. Everyone enjoyed looking around and sitting in the cars.
Vehicles that attended included a White GA 30HP Tourer from 1911, an Austin Healey Sprite Mk1, a 1960 Hillman Minx and an Austin A70 Hereford from 1953.
The Orchard Trust holds four yearly Tea in the Afternoon events with the next one taking place on December 4th, 1pm-3pm, with a Christmas theme. As this year the Trust is celebrating 30 years of providing care across the Forest of Dean there will also be a display of the history of the Trust.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join the team and meet Nuala, the goat columnist, (see page 10 for Nuala’s regular update on life at the Orchard Trust) and the rest of the animals at the Therapeutic Smallholding.
