Madam, What with it being the summer holidays before I go to university, I have, as many others, been looking for a summer job to get some money.

However application after application has been rebuffed, which is annoying in itself. However the worst part is that weeks after I applied for a position to be told there are no current vacencies when there clearly were vacancies when I applied.

Other applications I have made have said I was too late with my application even though the job was still available for weeks after I applied, which again is ridiculous. But the most annoying response is when I apply for simple jobs, eg general assistant in a local shops I supposedly need prior experience. But how am I ever meant to get prior experience if I am never given a job to begin with? There is nothing wrong with someone else being selected for a job over me, but it is extremely frustrating when the reasons given are completely false.
