MADAM, Further to your article last week about the scratch card schemes ('Scratch cards promising prizes which cost winners money outlawed by High Court'), I do hope the companies will not be carrying on in business.
My very elderly mother succumbed to one of these schemes, and when she rang up to claim her 'prize' she was left with a £15 phone charge.
Let's hope this is the back of them.
