MADAM, I wonder if you could put a big thank you in the paper this week for the Ross Community First Responders, who on Friday, in the snow and with the services of their 4x4 vehicle, managed to help us deliver the WRVS Meals on Wheels to elderly folk in and around the town. Without their kind offer some elderly people would not have eaten a hot meal that day. Our thanks also go to Geoff, who used his private vehicle to deliver meals, and and Theresa at the Office.

Madam, We provide delicious freshly made hot lunches for delivery to elderly folk in and around Ross every lunchtime, and with this weeks snow, we were determined to deliver! Through your column, may we take this opportunity, to thank Wye Valley Garage for the loan of a four wheel drive vehicle, in order for us to deliver throughout the bad weather.
