An inquest has been opened and adjourned in relation to the death of a 57-year-old man whose body was found on the grass near to the Swimming Pool in Ross-on-Wye on Boxing Day.

Police were called at 8.10am on December 26th to the public footpath which runs alongside the Halo gym and swimming pool.

The man was confirmed dead at the scene but his death is not being treated as suspicious.

The date for the inquest has not yet been fixed.
