Over 30 delegates from 11 countries visited Ross-on-Wye as part of an international effort to promote cider and tourism.
Herefordshire is regarded as the cider capital of Britain and Ross-on-Wye the birthplace of tourism in the UK.
Delegates visited The Prospect and viewed the augmented reality imagery of the fountain on smartphones.
The Town Ambassadors showed the visitors around in what could become a reciprocal annual event to celebrate and promote one of the fastest-growing drinks on the market.
One visitor was Lee Reeve from Incider, Japan. He was so impressed with the town, and the county, that he plans to look for business opportunities to import Herefordshire cider into Japan.See this week’s paper for more stories like this, available in shops and as a Digital Edition now.
