Madam Monmouth has done it again! Can any one from Ross Council explain why, when the scouts are out looking for new locations for their stores we always seem to be passed by. Monmouth has a Marks and Spencer's food hall, Waitrose, Lidle and now they have Ice land, what do we have? A carpet shop right in the middle of town (which always looks empty). I am sure this prime spot could have been utilised for more beneficial purposes. We were promised Aldi, is it three years ago or more? But all we have at the bottom of our town is derelict buildings right next to the car park where hopefully, if they can find their way in, the visitors to Ross use.
While on the subject of our Town, and before the great debate starts could each shop not put a Christmas tree in the holders on the wall out side their shop this would give a nice display and we would not have to rely on the street lights so much!!
