On each of three Information Days held at Brampton Abbotts recently, Village Hall trustees and Parish Councillors greeted parishoners and discussed the past, present and future of the Village Hall.

Display panels provided details on the history of the Village Hall and how it came to be built in 1956 funded by local resident’s donations, the proposed refurbishment and an explanation of how it will be funded,

There were also suggestions for potential future events. Home made cookies and refreshments donated by three local supermarkets were also provided.

The next stage of the funding process is for the Parish Council to circulate a questionnaire to all households to gauge support for the Village Hall, this will determine if the funding application can be progressed. The future of the Village Hall is now in the hands of local residents.
