IT'S been a whirlwind few days for keen photographer, William Henderson. William, whose day job is at Sainsbury's, was well placed last week to take some stunning photos of the Aurora Borealis from the top of Ruardean Hill. It was just luck for he had gone to take pics of the starry skies. It's highly unusual for the Northern lights to light up the sky this far south. When he uploaded his photos onto the social networks they went viral. On Williams Facebook alone, over 17,000 people viewed it, and on the Ross Gazette Facebook pages it was one of our most viewed photos ever, seen by over 7,000 readers.
