Organisers of a major Ross music festival are in optimistic mood as the date for its rescheduled fixture draws near.
Jamstand – or, to use its revised name, Jamstand presents Octoberfest – was originally planned as a two-day event for August, only to be postponed following disagreements about the venue licence.
But Jack Baldus, the driving force behind the free event, has told the Ross Gazette that the rescheduled festival will be every bit as good as the August plans promised. Of the August line-up, only rap star Roots Manuva will be unable to attend – although Jack Baldus has promised a "surprise special guest" by way of compensation.
