26 John Kyrle High School students, along with seven members of staff, enjoyed a warm spring walk on their latest Bronze DofE practise walk.

The group trekked up the hillfort on Little Doward and then on through the woods to the Biblins via King Arthur’s Cave.

The remainder of the walk was a gentle stroll along the banks of the River Wye, punctuated by a stop for lunch and an ice cream in the sunshine.

The students are now thinking about the Bronze expedition which will take place in June. It involves a two day walk, followed by an overnight camp, where they will be expected to pitch their own tents and cook themselves a meal.
