THREE Ross-on-Wye residents from different backgrounds, who share one passion – tidying up our beautiful town, have decided to join forces to form Ross Community Litter Clean-up Crew and signed up to the Stop the Drop campaign.

Chris Bartrum, who already organises a number of successful litter picks in and around the town,  Anne Taylor, who is a founder member of the Merrivale Community Flower Bed Group, and Jill Scamell, who has been an avid supporter of the events and has a shared interest in community projects. 

Chris, Anne and Jill know that they can not do this on their own. If you share their interest and would like to make a difference, then please get involved. Everyone is welcome.

As a community group they are not permitted in some areas but are sure that there will be plenty of areas they can share some TLC. A new Facebook page has been set up to share areas that are needing some love and to promote upcoming events.

The Ross Litter Crew’s next event will be Saturday, March 24th as part of the Great British Spring Clean.  They will meet at the bridge, Homs Road Car Park at 10.00am and all equipment will be provided.
